Camp Details
Teens will be divided by gender into groups of 7-8 campers with 2 counsellors for each group. Males and females will be separated in different areas of the campground. Mutual requests for campers of the same gender to be in the same group can often be accommodated. We will be providing a large tent as accommodation for each camper group (campers must bring their own sleeping bags and pillows). Our common times for meals and Christian education will be in a nearby pavilion, and our common time for activities will be at the nearby beach.
Daily Schedule
In addition to lots of fun, we will be learning about God, Jesus and the Bible and how we can start and develop a relationship with him. Our teaching will also involve various issues of life and faith. The following is our daily schedule at teen camp:

Food
We will provide healthy, delicious and kid-friendly meals. We cannot guarantee a peanut-free environment, but we do not knowingly serve peanut products, and we ask that campers do not bring peanut products. We encourage the drinking of water to prevent dehydration.
A menu will be available in early June.
Medical Care
Safety is our highest priority, and we train our staff to provide a safe environment. A complete copy of our protocol for working safely with children and teens (called “Plan to Protect”) is available here. We have a nurse on staff to assist in any medical issues including delivering required medications or over-the-counter medications, bandaging and caring for minor injuries, providing first aid, and accompanying a camper to the local hospital (the Orillia hospital is only 10 minutes away). All medication must be given to our medical staff and not stored with the campers.
Please do not send your child to camp your home has a bedbug issue. Please check your child for headlice before coming to camp. Everyone will be inspected for headlice upon arrival, and any camper with headlice will not be able to attend the camp (a 50% refund will be made).
