I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Since both my father and mother were Christian believers, I had the opportunity to hear the gospel from my early childhood. I went to Sunday School where I enjoyed listening to the Bible stories. In those days I would have said that I believed the whole Bible was true, but in reality I myself was not saved. In theory, I knew the way of salvation and, in a way, I believed in God but I was not a real believer in Christ. However when I did learn that I was a lost sinner in the eyes of God I seriously wanted to be saved. I well remember the night that I believed that Christ died for my sins upon the cross. Since then I have enjoyed the presence of Christ in my life. I treasure the Bible, it is my spiritual food, I am able to speak with God in prayer, and I enjoy happy fellowship with believers. I think that our work as christians is to tell others of the gospel message so they also can enjoy the blessings of salvation through Christ the Saviour.
